Application
Spezial OSM is an acidic foam cleaner based on organic and mineral acids for use in the food and beverage industry and commercial kitchens. It is used to clean acid-resistant surfaces such as equipment, containers, tanks, aggregates and racks made of stainless steel or aluminum. Spezial OSM can also be used on doors, floors, ceilings and walls. As an acidic product, Spezial OSM has a pronounced dirt dissolving capacity against mineral soiling such as limescale, rust or other deposits from water hardness. Spezial OSM develops excellent run-off and rinsing properties, so that the surfaces appear in their original shine after rinsing and drying. Due to its phosphate and nitrate-free formulation, Spezial OSM is ideal for use in businesses where the regular introduction of phosphates is not possible.
The use of Spezial OSM is a useful addition to an alkaline foam cleaner to prevent the continuous buildup of dirt on surfaces caused by water hardness. Using a suitable foaming system with an air outlet pressure of 4 to 6 bar, a stable, adherent foam is achieved.
Recommended Use:
1. Removal of coarse dirt
2. Pre-rinse with water
3. Lather the surface to be cleaned, then allow it to work for a certain time
4. Rinse with drinking water quality
If Spezial OSM is used as a supplement to alkaline cleaning, we recommend switching to Spezial OSM after every third or fourth cleaning.
