The requirements for reprocessing laundry from hygiene-sensitive areas are defined in a large number of regulations, guidelines and standards. This includes the consistent implementation of the hygiene plan.

Among other things, this regulates the regular maintenance of the machinery. This preventive measure must be carried out regularly and in a standardized manner in order to ensure a hygienically perfect condition.

Why is refurbishment necessary?

The entry of dirt and germs into tunnel washers and washer extractors is usually system-related. In addition, inadequate hygiene measures, a high dirt load and overloading of the washing process lead to continuous contamination of the machine. If hygiene measures are not implemented, contamination can lead to an impairment of the washing result, the introduction of germs into the operating environment and a hygiene disaster.

What happens during a refurbishment?

Our Lizerna Clear product has established itself as a preventative measure, but also to improve machine hygiene as part of a refurbishment. As a success control, there is the option of microbiological testing with water samples and swab samples - a supplement to our usual hygiene monitoring.
