Neutracid Liquid Neutralizing agents

Description
Neutracid Liquid is a specially developed acid-binding stabilizer that is indispensable for the care of perchloroethylene-based dry cleaning machines. It prevents the breakdown of the stabilizer system contained in perchloroethylene and thus protects the machine from corrosion. In addition, Neutracid liquid is able to bind free fatty acids. This helps to prevent unpleasant solvent and fabric odors that can occur during textile cleaning.
Application
Perchloroethylene
Check the pH value of the solvent using indicator paper or a measuring device in the water separator at least once a week.
Depending on the measured pH value, the following dosage per 100 l of solvent is recommended:
pH value 3: 300 ml Neutracid Liquid
pH value 4: 225 ml Neutracid Liquid
pH value 5: 150 ml Neutracid Liquid
pH value 6: 90 ml Neutracid Liquid
pH value 7: 75 ml Neutracid Liquid
pH value 8: 15 ml Neutracid Liquid
The Neutracid Liquid is normally added to the distillation bubble, as this is where the acid is formed by splitting. If acid is introduced directly via the items to be cleaned, it is better to dose the Neutracid Liquid via the needle trap, e.g. when cleaning heavily soiled workwear.
All other solvents:
After cleaning the still, add 100 ml to the cold still. To prevent overboiling, the solvent to be distilled should be pumped into the cold still afterwards.
