FoamEx Universal is a defoaming additive that is highly concentrated and should therefore be dosed sparingly. The product is particularly suitable for destroying foam consisting of saponified polymer components of all types of paints and varnishes. FoamEx Universal also reduces foam caused by turbulence in aqueous cleaning baths.

Application

FoamEx Universal is a powerful defoaming additive developed for aqueous, alkaline washing baths. It is particularly suitable for the destruction of foam consisting of saponified polymer components of all types of paints and varnishes. FoamEx Universal also reduces foam caused by turbulence in aqueous, alkaline washing baths. The wash bath modified by the additive is only foam-free above 40 °C. The optimum concentration of FoamEx Universal to be added to aqueous, alkaline wash baths depends on the foaming properties. Good mixing of the wash bath also guarantees a high degree of effectiveness of FoamEx Universal. The product is milky cloudy; flocculation does not impair the effect.
