Description

FoamEx 28 is a defoamer that is particularly suitable for the reduction or destruction of foam, consisting of saponified polymer components from paints and varnishes, in turbulent cleaning baths. The product is highly concentrated and should therefore be dosed sparingly. The formulation is also water-free.

Application

FoamEx 28 is a powerful defoaming additive developed for aqueous, alkaline washing baths. It is particularly suitable for the destruction of foam consisting of saponified polymer components of all types of paints and varnishes. FoamEx 28 also reduces foam caused by turbulence in aqueous, alkaline washing baths. The wash bath modified by the additive is only foam-free above 40 °C. The optimum addition concentration of FoamEx 28 to aqueous, alkaline wash baths depends on the foaming properties. Good mixing of the wash bath also guarantees a high degree of effectiveness of FoamEx 28. The product is milky cloudy; flocculation does not impair the effect.
