EW Extra is an outstanding detergent with a range of impressive properties. It is silicone-free and extremely effective at removing heavy protein loads in the cleaning liquor. It can also be used regardless of temperature and has FDA approval, making it particularly suitable for various applications.
Application
EW Extra is a silicone-free, highly concentrated defoaming concentrate for foam reduction and prevention in aqueous media. EW Extra is effective at temperatures as low as 20° C, so that even troublesome foam can be effectively reduced in relatively cold applications. Even the development of foam in cleaning liquors with a high protein content is effectively prevented. EW Extra can be used as a highly effective defoamer in companies throughout the food and beverage industry. In accordance with Food and Drug (FDA) Regulations Title 21 CFR, it is approved as a process aid for direct food contact. EW Extra is added to the media to be defoamed. It is added manually or via a dosing system. We recommend automatic dosing to achieve uniform foam attenuation. The first addition should be made at the start of cleaning to prevent foam from forming in the first place.EW Extra can also be added to cleaning concentrates.
It must be tested in advance whether it can be clearly dissolved in the intended quantity.
