Description

Neutracid liquid is a specially developed acid-binding stabilizer that is indispensable for the care of perchloroethylene-based dry cleaning machines. It prevents the breakdown of the stabilizer system contained in perchloroethylene and thus protects the machine from corrosion. In addition, Neutracid liquid is able to bind free fatty acids. This helps to prevent unpleasant solvent and fabric odors that can occur during textile cleaning.

Application

PerchloroethyleneCheck the pH value of the solvent using indicator paper or a measuring device in the water separator at least once a week.The following dosage is recommended for 100 liters of solvent based on the measured pH value:pH 3: 300 ml Neutracid liquidpH 4: 225 ml Neutracid liquidpH 5: 150 ml Neutracid liquidpH 6: 90 ml Neutracid liquidpH value 7: 75 ml Neutracid liquidpH value 8: 15 ml Neutracid liquidNeutracid liquid is normally added to the still, as this is where the acid is formed by decomposition. If the acid is introduced directly via the items to be cleaned, it is better to dose the Neutracid liquid via the button trap, e.g. when cleaning heavily soiled work clothing. All other solvents:
After cleaning the still, add 100 ml to the cold still. To prevent overboiling, the solvent to be distilled should be pumped into the cold still afterwards.
