Description
Detasolv is a powerful resin remover for use in pre-spotting with water. The effective formulation reliably removes oils and greases from textiles.
Application
For optimum use of Detasolv, a spotting workstation with a suction arm (e.g. Veit ...) should be used. A hem test should be carried out on sensitive materials such as silk, acetate or viscose. In general, in case of doubt (especially if color fastness is suspected), a hem test should be carried out. Detasolv is applied drop by drop directly onto the treatment area. When using low-viscosity, surfactant-free dry spotting agents, rapid spreading of the treatment area must be expected. This is prevented by lining the stain area on the extraction arm with an open-pored special fleece. The stain substances dissolved by sparing use of Detasolv are absorbed and retained by the fleece. Before the treatment areas are dried with compressed air after successful Detachur, the fleece full of stain substance must be removed. Detasolv leaves no drying marks.
If Detasolv is used for pre-spotting, it must be applied according to the methods for post-spotting (dry the spotting area thoroughly).
