Detafix-Rostol

All products in the Detafix range can be used universally for pre- and post-spotting. These are highly effective products that require a hem test before use on delicate garments and textiles with low color fastness.Detafix-Rostol is suitable for rust and metal oxide stains.Pre-spottingWhen used undiluted in the pre-spotting stage on Per, the products in the Detafix range do not need to be covered with a cleaning booster. In the case of delicate fabrics (silk, acetate, viscose), the spotting areas should be rinsed and then blown dry. When used in KWL operations, rinse the detached area and blow dry or cover with Benzapon Pre. In individual cases, graying of the detached areas indicates that the concentration of cleaning booster in the liquor is too low. In this case, the affected parts should be cleaned again with a higher concentration of RV. Parts treated with Detafix series products in the pre-spotting phase should be cleaned in the machine no later than 30 minutes after treatment.

Post-spotting
In the post-spotting phase, the Detafix series products are left to work on the stain area and the effect is supported with a spatula, spotting brush and steam. The treatment area is then rinsed with water using suction and blown dry with air. All products in the Detafix series can be rinsed out without leaving any residue. The Detafix working bottles can be fitted with spray heads to treat large areas of staining. This method of working has proved particularly effective in laundries and carpet cleaning.

NoteDetafix Rostol has a strong acidic reaction and should always be rinsed out with water and the treated area blown dry, even in the pre-spotting phase. As is known from all rust removers, an increased amount of Detafix Rostol in the solvent liquor can lead to degradation of the stabilizer and - associated with this - to corrosion and odours.
